You do not need the clock I removed it and wired the oven direct. The wires are easy to get at when the front panel is removed. If you look at the manuals on line they will guide you with the correct wires to use
The electronic clock/timer must be in manual mode for the oven to operate. When the power to the oven is cut the electronic clock/timer reverts to automatic mode when the power comes back on.
Hello,
The control on the right is for temperature,0 to 275 degrees centigrade.50 is about at 2 o, clock and 275 is about 9 o, clock.Middle dial is for the timer. The left hand one is your functions.at 2o,clock is the light. At 3o,clock is conventional oven top and bottom elements heat.5o,clock is the top element for browning.7o,clock is the bottom element for crisping.9o,clock is the infra red grill for small stuff one element.11o,clock is the full grill for all.12o,clock is off.If you need to order the knobs the part no. is 3303563831. cost € 21.36.
This tutorial will show you how to check your Zanussi element and how to replace your Zanussi cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Zanussi manual.
If you're Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.
Look in yellew pages for a Zanussi dealer, you will need mod number,,serial number, and er number, all of which are on the rating plate found at the front of the oven.
Hi this is propably too late now but we moved in to our new house six months ago and have a Zanussi ZBF 360 oven, and had no idea how to set the timer / clock. After fiddling around with the oven clock for the last 6 months i managed to set the clock. It shouldn't be much different to the one you have. Hope this helps you and others in the future.
Click the middle button until the little red things on the screen moved round to the clock symbol, then press + or - to get to the correct time, once you have done this it will flash for a few seconds then it will stop flashing and the clock is set. The same goes for the timer to set it when you want to cook something for a period of time eg: ten mins.
As for getting the oven timer to turn it's self on and off I am still messing with it and when i have mastered it I will let people know.
if the oven fan and light are not working, then the clock probably needs setting.
if oven fan and light work, but no heat, then the problem is probably the circular element round the fan. remove the back panel of the oven and you can often (but not always) see the damage.
replacement of the element is straightforward
CANNOT SET TIMER FOR BOTTOM OVEN
