I bought a new mobile phone. put my sim card in. got locked
out after i forgot puk or freeze code my provider says i have to
send it back to samsung. as its a new samsung
C5220.. i dont want to do it. very expensive and they lost
the last phone i sent in for repairs. what can i do to unfreeze

Phone freeze means you enters the network code 3x wrong
If you have the
original cable for this phone you can power it on without simcard.
Then get an
account for the SRS online server (Unlock Samsung Online -
Samsung Remote Unlock Server EN - Samsung Unlock)
now connect your
phone to the computer, and install the drivers (if needed)
login to the srs
server, select the correct port, and model. Now press direct unlock, and
sit back. (process can take up to 5 hours). After you get
"unlock done" your phone is unlocked, and the phone freeze is repaired.
