I bought a Bravetti Professional kettle from Canadian Tire approximately 4 months ago. At the beginning, when you turned it on, a plastic burning smell came from it. Now, the bottom of the kettle has a burned hole in it. I can see what looks like a white cord under the burned plastic. The burn hole is right beside on of the three slots. What can you do for me. I spent $100.00 on this kettle and I expected it to last a little longer than 4 months.

Methinks YOU are going to have TWO problems! The two screws shown are quite 'special' and you will need special BITS to remove them!

Hi Colin, These days some folk would say you were lucky to get 18 months! Cut your losses and buy a cheap and cheerful one!

I'd contact the manufacturer and see if they'll send you a replacement. That's not normal.

I can't solve your problem but I can sure relate. I am having the same problem with my Bravetti Pro (it's far from Pro - it should be called Bravetti Amateur) I tried cooking a small ham with cut up potatoes recently, and after 11 hours cooking at the medium setting, the potatoes were not cooked. I got this thing as a gift about a year ago, and although I've only used it a few times, it never seems to cook properly. Mine was purchased at Canadian Tire and although I don't have a receipt, I think I'll try to take it back. Good luck with yours!

i brought a belline kettle from target 2 months ago and now the lid wont shut where would i find a contact no for the company as target wont issue me a new one and i dont have my reciept after all who would have thought it would be faulty after 2 months

Too funny, but I solved the problem by returning the Kettle, all
the correct lights came on but it would not boil....so purchased a
different one.

Purchased at Canadian Tire mid December 07.....great sale....still more than I expected to spend on a kettle. EE and nothing.....same as previous customer comments.
