SOURCE: What does "F1" mean? The oven is out!

I think f1 is a problem with the oven control board. Look on the back of the oven for a tech sheet and it will tell you what the codes mean and what to check.

SOURCE: Oven trouble

Do Not try to perform the below if: Oven is under warranty,You are not handy with a soldering gun, or Are afraid to do this.

The below solution applies only to my in-wall oven with F2 and F3 codes randomly, but presumably will work with other GE models.

I had the same trouble with a GE in-wall oven. The problem was on the electrical board behind the keypad. A pin that was soldered to the board, that was the input for the oven temp sensor, had cracked solder. So I re-soldered the pin and hopefully it will continue working.

Maytag electric range model# MERH752CAS oven and stovetop stopped working.

Check the breakers. The range runs on 220v and one of the breakers may have tripped and it is running on 110v. Post back the results.

The lock is displayed on the clock and dont no how to get it of

If you're talking about the oven and stovetop being locked so you can't cook, on mine you usually hold the oven or stovetop light button for about five to seven seconds and it clicks off. I have a Kenmore, but I know sometimes they're similar. Also, if the power go outs, it automatially goes into lock mode.

Mer5755qab oven takes an hour to heat to 200

Either your bake element is bad or there is a bad connection going to the element. This is a very high current connection so bad connections are always a possiblity. Also check and make sure your broil element is working as some ovens use it for pre-heat. Do both elements seem about the same temp? You can turn the oven on and carefully hold your hand a few inches from the element to see if they are getting equally hot. If your connections are good to the elements then one of the "calrod" elements is probably bad. You can also check the resistance of each element. Not sure of exact reading but a higher resistance means less current going to the element. Just compare reading on each one and go from there. Good luck!

I was setting the clock on my maytag model # PER4311ACW stove/range and then a code "5 A6" popped up on the display and now the oven won't turn on altough the stovetop still works and the display...

If your code is SaB i just did this myself....i accidentally turned on the sabbath mode. I fixed if (after 2 days of trying) by holding down the cancel button for about 5 seconds, and then the clock button for about the same.

Maytag double oven with ceramic stovetop. Tried to change the time on the stove. Now display has large and small red numbers displayed and cannot use the oven.

Unplug the machine for about 5 mins. If it's hard to reach the plug, you can turn off the breaker instead. You should be able to reset the clock normally after you turn the power back on.
