Whirlpool F21 (and 16, 18, 20 and 22) states 'control unit failure'. Could be poor connections but requires a service call, sorry ;-0(

call wirlpool and demand they replace the water p/p if its only 3 yrs old its there duty under trade law to fix it remember there warrenty covers them but fair trade laws say a washer must last at least five yrs or the company must repair the unit thats why us teachs laugh at peoiple that buy extendid waqrrentys the government covers all goods under law for 5 yrs minimum

If the washer is less than a year old it is still under warranty. Call where you purchased it and it should be serviced for free.

I also got the SUDS error followed by F35 many times. I replaced the analog water level switch, Wirlpool part number W10156252, and the problem went away. The part is located against the back right corner of the top of the washer after removing the top cover. The part cost $62.99 + $12.95 express shipping from ApplianceZone.net. I have the Kenmore HE3t Steam Washer, model number 110.46752 700 front loader. I was able to run about 6 loads of laundry by unplugging the washer, waiting about 5 minutes, the re-plugging and re-starting the washer. Thereafter, the problem became permanent. I always used HE detergent. The washer was purchased new in December 2007, and the I made the repair in September 2009. I spent about $1300 for the Kenmore H3t Steam Washer, and I am disappointed that it required repair after less than 2 years. My mothers old Maytag washer lasted more than 15 years, and was not susceptible to soap SUDS.

That happened to mine I had to replace the "brain" of the washer....the part was about $170. I think it is called the control panel.
There is a test you can run...look in the manual.

You have to ask yourself how much is the warranty worth to you. You normally have a 12 months warranty because if the machine is going to develop a fault, it will usually be in the first few months of use.
Saying that, some brands just don't last that long. The ones that do are expencive to buy in the first place.

So to answer your question, if you are getting it for half price of new, then yes I would go for it. If in the event something does go wrong, a repair will still be cheaper than a similar new unit, so you haven't lost out on the deal.
