I use also Creative Zen, but I do not use any software at all. Windows install automaic a driver so you can see it in the folder " My Computer ". From there you can access your drive (like all the other drives you have on the computer) and copy your musik files etc. to it !!!
This will work if you have windows xp (service pack 2) and windows media player 11 you will not need the drivers or installation CD just charge and play.
