New LG Wireless USB dongle connected to new LG 47LX6500 3D TV, recognised by TV as a wireless network device, but cant see any other wireless networks and behaves generally as if it had no aerial. I think the Dongle may be faulty, any comments?

ya ya ya , you blame your wife!!! don't do that again as gentleman. Well do this,: open this link in the computer which is connected to wireless, http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html download the program and run this utility you will find your wireless key
Make sure everything is compatible for the type of wireless network you are using g/b/n and you are using the correct radio frequency. Also make sure you are using the correct wifi dongle for the make of your TV. From what I recall I do remember some of them being proprietary because the TV will have to have pre-loaded drivers for the wireless dongle.
Hi. Brian...Call LG Customer Care Number @ 1-888-311-3841 (Toll-free) USA. and find instant help to connect LG tv with AN-WF 100 dongle to computer home network. The LG technicians available 24*7 for you.
You need to go into the wireless settings not the Input source. Go to Menu and then Connection and continue from there. You can also unplug your dongle and plug it back in while the TV is on and it will auto detect the dongle and ask you if you would like to set it up now. Good luck
