I have a Tosumi television connected to standard sky box but every time I turn on television it goes to another channel rather than the connected av channel. Also when I try to use sky controller to change channels, television hops all over the place. Any Ideas?

Hi,

Always turn on your TV with the Sky box (or any other external device you want to use) turned OFF. When the TV is on, turn on the Sky box by pressing the "Sky" button at the top centre of the remote control. This will ensure that the TV recognises that there is an external input and it will automatically switch to the correct channel. It also ensures that your Sky remote control isn't in TV mode.

If you switch your TV to standby using the Sky remote after watching, the next time you use the Sky remote, it's still in TV mode. This is why your TV channels are jumping around.

Hope this helps.

How to connect xbox to jvc av-28gt1sjf

I assume that since you do not have remote you cannot choose another AV channel on your TV. If so you can use the RF input using a RF converter to AUDIO /VIDEO or if not the sky input must be shared through a VCR/DVD or multimedia/DTS amplifier

Got sky installed today only thing getting on screen is "no video signal"

Sounds like the "channel" you are trying to watch on is not the one it's plugged into, or a faulty lead.
check the connection from the sky box to the tv, and select the av or hdmi channel that it is plugged into on the tv.
check the lead by swapping it for a known good one, for example from a dvd or ps3, but unplug from the dvd/ps3 and plug into the sky box(make sure that all the units are powered off when swapping leads) and try on the channel you normally watch/use the dvd/ps3.
If you suspect the sky is at fault, press menu on the sky remote and then flick through all the av/hdmi channels until you find the menu, then try to reinstall/retune the sky box.
If that don't work phone sky......................

Panasonic TX P50V10B Plasma TV

In order to get any of the Freesat channels, you need to connect a Satellite dish to your TV. If you have a Sky dish, you simply need to run an extra Cable from the LNB from the dish and connect to your socket on the back of your TV.
In order to get Freeview channels and Analogue channels, you need to connect a aerial to the back of the TV.
There is a menu option for the TV to start straight to the AV input (your Sky HD box). It is Menu > Setup > Other Settings > Power on Preference. Select 'AV' for your TV to start on Sky HD.
Also even if you have your TV to start on TV, when you turn on your Sky HD box, it should automatically switch to the Sky box.

Can i access av channel without remote control?

If your connecting the likes of a DVD player, Virgin, Sky etc to your Tv via a scart. Then these should turn your tv onto the required Av channel automatically as a scart send power to the Tv.

Just make sure that you have everything connected up first of all before you turn the power on. Then what I would suggest you do is turn the TV on first then turn the DVD, Cable, Sky on after the tv is already on this should then change to the AV your appliance is connected to.

Hope This helps you out. Please Leave a thumbs up if this clarify things for you.
