Hi,problem can solved..What makes the menu button not functioning, is because the flex of the phone is damaged.

The flex of the phone is located inside the phone and it is connected to the display of the phone. And also controls the functions of the menu key.

The flex might have cut or might be damaged and will need to be replaced with another.

When the flex is replaced,problem solved.

default codes are normally 0000 or 1234. if you need more numbers for code continue sequence, but 4 numbers is the norm. Hope this helps

The whole thing is under $10 including shipping. If nothing else, copy the model # of the remote and you might be able to find it cheaper someplace else.
