Hi hopp34, the air filter is on the carb, the furl filter is in the tank, with a small wire bent with a u on the end you can fish it out. Hope this helps ya.

It depends on the model you have. Most have a large "nut" that will tighten down on the ball swivel. It should have finger grips. Tighten that nut some (clockwise) and it should get much stiffer.
Disassemble and soak it in a lime cleaning solution or vinegar. I have include a link below with more information for you. I hope this will solve your problem.
