When I turned on my Dell PowerEdge 1800 Server, the Red LED was blinking and it keeps re-booting, I even couldn't enter the Setup Menu (F2)... Is there any Hardware Failure or something missing??
Please, quick reply is appreciated :)
Thanks & Regards,

An Amber blinking power button indicates a low voltage problem. This can be caused by a defective power supply or a defective motherboard.May also be caused by a defective card installed in the motherboard, i.e. video card.
Try entering the BIOS (usually by hitting F2 or Delete during the boot up sequence) and looking under the boot menu for the USB drive. Some older systems cannot boot from USB. You might have improperly formatted the USB drive. What are you trying to boot into?
Hi,
If the server is running Windows, you can usually enter safe mode by repeatedly pressing F8 after you press the power switch.
You can also get into the dell utility, which lets you run memory and system tests. To access this, follow the on screen directions during boot up.
enter the bios.F2 You can download the update CD from here. Also, you can update the bios from within windows with this utility (still requires reboot).
You
should be able to see the reasons in the front panel, remove the
front cover and you will see a small display with some information
passing slowly. Sometimes is just the redundant power-supply that is
disconnected.
