I have a navman f15 and i erased everything on the flash drive now on bootup it shows just the ***** 200 screen and the usb screen i need the original f15 files or just the smartst file and i will fix it from there , iwill instal other os like igo.Can anyone help.i dont need the maps just the internal files and the initiating files which start the software

Seriously though the battery has to be fully charged to obtain a signal also in the middle of the city it may not be able to see clearly the birds . Other electronic factors can screen out connection.
Is it reporting a valid antenna connection in the pic that shows the satellite connections beoing made?
Have you tried firmware update for your gps . If you have not tried it try to update the latest firmware . By updating firmware your problem can be fixed .
As Navman Support told me there is officially NO SOFTWARE UPGRADE, NO OTHER MAP and NO COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER NAVMAN PRODUCTS.... Because F15 is an SPECIAL OFFER for beginners... oh God.... I aquired my F15 in RadioShack.... Will try some inofficial methods.
I had this problem when I completely deleted the Backup folder from \My Flash Disk.
Restoring the backup folder allowed the 520 to operate properly again.
It is possible that you have a corrupted APPStartupSec.exe application. Without this file working it appears that the NAVMAN waits in USB mode for ever!
