I received an Error Code ( <>[e:20100924[]6039] ) on only 1 channel ( YTVe ). The TV Model is NS-LCD32F. A large Black Box Appears and the Error Code appears repeatedly but only on the 1 channel. The TV Appears to be having trouble with that Channel. When I change the channel and turn the TV Off, the problem seems to disappear. When I turn the TV on I am able to watch TV as long as I stay away from the one channel. I checked the channel on another TV ( not High Def. ) the channel works without any trouble which could rule-out my MTS PVR. I also reset the MTS PVR and the problem remained on the NS-LCD32F Model TV. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Led power light comes on but screen will not come on.

"Blinks a few times" implies the TV is flashing a fault code at you. If you can find a service manual for your model, count the number of blinks and look it up in the diagnostics section.

However, the most likely problem is a burned-out electrolytic capacitor in the power supply. These are usually easy to identify visually; the top of the can-shaped capacitor should be flat, but may be bulged out and may have brown or black material leaking from the vent scores. The photo below shows a bad capacitor to the right of a good one; both have black plastic sleeves.

If this is the case, replacement capacitors are relatively cheap. However, you should look for the following criteria in choosing a new part:
>Capacitance (uF): same as the original, or 10% higher if the original value is not available
>Voltage: same or higher
>Temperature: Maximum temperature should be same or higher
>Physical size: should fit in the space occupied by the original; if buying a taller unit, make sure it will fit when the back cover is reinstalled, and make sure the capacitor will not touch heat generating parts such as heat sinks, resistors or large transistors.
>Ripple current: get the highest available without compromising too much on endurance. Ripple current may be specified in mA or A; 1 A = 1000 mA. Sometimes you can get a better rating by going to a higher voltage part, but physical size may be a limitation.
>Endurance: Try to get 8000 hours or better.

I usually use Panasonic FR1 series capacitors, although United Chemi-Con EKZN capacitors are also worth a look. 25351068-tkog3zu3xmxabptjkcidpctj-1-0.jpeg

Which jack ports on rear of dra f107 do i use to connect to tv,thanks

If you mean >>> DENON <<< DRA F107 and you want to connect TV-related audio to it...

Either run an RCA pair from the back of your (unknown make/model) TV audio out to the receiver's CD, Aux1 or Aux2 input. Then configure your unknown TV sound output to be FIXED if that is an option, so TV volume can be turned down at the TV but the receiver can still use the audio.

Better yet would be to draw TV-related audio from whatever the TV is watching: DVD, Cable Box, satellite box and eliminate the TV as the Low-Fi middleman.

Audio on some TV channels/shows goes off. It varies by channel, sometimes national feed is silent, but local break-ins have sound. I have to set the Audio from A.F.D. to Movie to get audio. Sometimes I...

Not sure what this means: "The audio comes to the Cable box through coax cable." From where does audio come TO the cable box? The cable box is a source of both audio and video. Perhaps you mean the TV broadcast "containing the audio and video" comes in on coax.

Has this ever worked correctly? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Try this: disconnect the HDMI that goes from the cable box to the Video 2 on the receiver. Leave the optical audio cable in. How's the audio now?

Then try the reverse: reconnect the HDMI and disconnect the optical audio. You shouldn't need BOTH for audio into the receiver.

Now what happens?
