Hi, you know where the glass runs along the edges their should be some sort of beading that holds the glass in.
This is in 4 pieces and runs along the edge of the part where the glass is, they are usually nailed in with small tacks.
you know the edge of the glass nearest where the glass touches the door, the frame is usually rounded and tacked onto the actual door itself. Gently sanding the frame should reveal the tacks then gently pry off with thin screw driver. This can split but can be purchased for pennys just ask for window beading ok.
Once these are removed its best to use silicon or window bond when you put the new glass in as this will seal any leaks for water and will protect the glass from shock.
Then replace the beading but be gentle as you can break the new glass if you are to heavy handed.
Let me know how you get on ok

How do I repace the glass on the front of oven door

Click on this to view the diagram.
Put a thick towel on the counter (or table). Remove the door from its hinges and set it on the towel. Be careful not to damage anything, especially glass and door handle. Remove the door handle (#10 screws). Remove the bottom screws that hold #4 outer panel to #9 inner door panel. You can then set the outer panel aside. Collect broken glass pieces if any and install the new glass. Set the outer panel back on, and repeat the other steps in reverse.
That's about it.
Let us know how it goes...

Replace bellow seal

Hello.

1 Unplug the power cord. Pull the Whirlpool Duet away from the wall. Remove the screws at the back of the machine using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the top panel from the machine and set it aside.

2 Remove the soap dispenser from the front of the machine by pulling it out and depressing the button at the back to release it. Remove the soap dispenser bracket retaining screws, using a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the dispenser bracket out of the washer.

3 Remove the retaining screws from the control panel with a Phillips screwdriver. Release the locking clips and flip the control panel on top of the machine. There is no need to disconnect the wiring harness. Open the washing machine door and remove the retaining screws from the door latch, using a nut driver.

4 Remove the outer retaining spring from the bellow seal using a pair of needle-nose pliers to grasp the loop and pull it out. Peel the bellow away from the door opening, using your fingers. Push the bellow seal inside the machine after you release it from the door opening.

5 Lift the front of the washing machine and put a wooden block under it.
Remove the retaining screws from the bottom of the front panel using a nut driver. Remove the wooden block from under the washing machine and lower the unit back to the floor. Remove the screws at the top of the front panel with a nut driver. Pull the panel away from the machine and set it aside.

6 Pull the old bellow seal from the machine. Unplug the white and black hoses from the old bellow seal . Remove the spring clamp from the bellow and throw the old bellow seal away. Rub liquid laundry soap on the groove of the new bellow seal. Push the new bellow seal onto the washtub with the opening for the hoses at the top. Push firmly until it is on tight.

7 Install the spring clamp on the new bellow seal into the groove using a Phillips screwdriver. Plug the black and white hoses into the holes at the top of the bellow. Be careful not to damage the bellow seal. Place the front of the machine on the frame and install the top screws using a nut driver. Push the door latch through the hole and install the retaining screws.

8 Press the bellow seal into place around the door opening and install the spring clamp around the perimeter of the bellow. Lift the machine and place the wood block under it. Install the bottom screws with the nut driver. Remove the wooden block and place the machine back on the floor. Put the control panel in place and lock the retaining clips.

9 Install the soap dispenser bracket and the retaining screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Install the retaining screws on the control panel. Place the top cover on the machine and install the screws with the Phillips screwdriver. Plug in the power cord and push the machine against the wall. Install the soap dispenser drawer and push it all the way in so the tab locks into place.

Thanks.

I need to take a power window motor out of my 2001 chevy silverado 2500 but dont know how

You need to replace the " regulator". this includes the motor, cables and pulleys ect. $80-100. Open door, remove door panel, cut the clear plastic around the door handle, loosen the 2 clamps on the top vertical travel rails that clamp to the window, (this is all part of the regulator) . somehow you need hold the window up, (I use a towel, 2 pieces of wood and a big clamp) now the window glass can be released from the clamps on the regulator. unbolt the regulator mechanism and replace. should take an hour or less the first time. about 10-15 minute thereafter. bc

How do I remove and install a rear passenger side window (manual) in a 1997 Saturn SL1?The window was smashed, and I need to replace it. Thank you so much for your time and help!

Saturn Coupes/Sedans/Wagons 1991-1998 Repair Guide
Door Glass and Regulator - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
(see Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4)
  1. Remove the outer door panel assembly. Refer to the sub-procedure under Door Locks, earlier in this section.
  2. For rear doors, loosen the bottom fastener of the rear door stationary window assembly, in order to provide clearance, then apply tape to the lower half of the outboard exposed portion of the stationary window channel. The tape must be applied in order to prevent damage to the paint surface.
  3. Lower the door glass, then use SA9148B, or an equivalent tool, to remove the glass nuts. Push the glass upward and rotate slightly, then remove the glass from the vehicle.
  4. If the regulator is also to be removed, proceed as follows:
    1. Remove the inner door trim panel. Refer to the procedure earlier in this section.
    2. If applicable, unplug the wiring harness from the power regulator.
    3. Except for the rear door, remove the regulator cam bolts.
    4. Drill out the regulator rivets and remove the regulator from the vehicle.
To install:
  1. If removed, install the regulator to the door assembly:
    1. Position the regulator to the door and secure using rivets.
    2. Except for the rear door, install the cam bolts.
    3. If applicable, connect the wiring harness to the regulator.
    4. Install the inner door trim panel to the vehicle.
  2. Install the door glass into the door and over the regulator studs.
  3. Install the glass nuts using tool SA9148B, or equivalent.
  4. Check the door glass for proper operation and alignment.
  5. If necessary, adjust the glass alignment. For rear doors, fore/aft adjustments are made after loosening the B bolts, while in/out adjustments are made when the A bolts are loosened.
  6. Except for the rear doors, glass which is not running parallel to the door header may be adjusted after loosening the inner panel cam attachment bolts and adjusting the cam. If the glass is floating in the opening, lower the glass 3 / 4 downward, loosen the front guide fasteners, push the glass rearward to seat it in the rear channel, then bring the front glass guide back to the front edge of the glass. Apply a light finger pressure on the guide and tighten the fasteners.
  7. Once the glass has been properly adjusted and is operating smoothly, install the outer door panel assembly.

Door Glass, Front Removal
  1. Remove door trim panel and watershield. Refer to Section 01-05. ani_caut.gif CAUTION: Prior to removing center pins from the rivet, it is recommended that a suitable block support be inserted between door outer panel and glass bracket to stabilize glass during rivet removal. How to change the handle

To access the door handle mounting screws, you have to remove the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. You can use a small screwdriver to simply pry the plastic up and work your way gradually around the perimiter of the glass. Most microwave ovens have grooves in the panel that you can insert the screwdriver into. Use care not to pry against the glass. The glass is tempered and also has an RF shield that prevents harmful microwaves from potentially harming the consumer. If you break the glass, you will need to purchase a new door.

The door handle screws are located behind the inner panel. Simply remove the broken handle and install the new one. Re-insert the inner door panel carefully and gradually work your way around the perimeter of the door glass and make sure it snaps back into place.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.
