I know it's probaly pointless in 2014 to post this, but all you need to do is rename the video file so that it has an ".AVI" extension (Google "show extension names on Mac" if you need to). The ".PGI" file is used only by the camera, and is not used for any type of decoding on other devices (meaning you don't need it, and should just delete them).
go into the settings and switch to external mic and dont use the mic. or if you have an on off switch on the mic switch to off , its cumbersome but works. I have forgot to plug it in all the way and that too works gives you video no sound. you dont need a new camera , good luck
yes, it does. It only works with iLife 08 or 09, not older version. It's easier to connect with a card reader to your Mac, Open iMovie to import. If via Camcorder, make sure Camcorder is set to display->Print/PC.
