My Lumix DMC-LZ6 has started giving a blue hue to all pictures taken outside. The images taken inside are fine, but almost all that are taken outside have Smurfland-like lighting. I haven't seen anyone else with this problem...hope someone can advise!

You have the white balance set for incandescent lighting. That's why they look fine on the indoor shots but blue outdoors.

How can I change that? I changed the red/blue balance, but it's still taking blue pics, so I know that's not it, and I can't find it in the manual. Thanks!

May i use an Panasonic Lumix DMC -LZ6 as a webcam ? If i need a soft where to fiind it ?

This kinda cameras can not be used as web cam ..no matter what software you will use..The connection cable is just a memory access one ..and can not communicate with the lens..
To use like a webcam ..and have a quality superior to one ..you have to use a camera with streaming capability ..so it has to be either with firewire..cable or a USB camcorder..

My panasonic dmc-lz6 wont turn on

Replace batteries with new ones or recharge them if they are rechargeable.
If this operation won't help, then check the objective, because it could be jamed or blocked - in this case the LCD shows a message:"You should turn off and on the camera!" Something like that.
