As far as I know, Lexicon schematics are only available to authorized service centers. Can you describe the problem that you are having? Perhaps we can assist you with the repair?

My lexicon mc 12 pre amp won't power on. The lead

There may be a secondary fuse inside the unit, if not the problem will be in the power transformer, if you are handy with a digital post back and I will give instructions on testing the transformer.

Im having a problem with hearing my b-1 studio condenser mic on the lexicon alpha progam?

Sorry but... Very simply, you CANNOT use a condenser mic with the Alpha since it does not supply the required Phantom power for the mic. You must step up to another interface to use condenser mics. You can use dynamic mics with the Alpha or other audio sources. I use a Roland/Cakewalk UA25E interface with condenser mics and also the Lexicon Omega which does have Phantom power for the mics..

Lexicon DC-2

DC-1, DC-2 an MC-1s have the same power supply. The power supply usually lasts about 5 years before it goes. A New power supply is usually about $ 65.00. There is usually a $300.00 LABOR FEE. Check out THE SERVICE BENCH in MA. Phone number is 781-769-4338.

MC1 Switched Power Supply

Hi Hansjo. You may find that if one capacitor has failed, then there may be more. If you see any signs of bulging, leaking, or pushing the bottom out of any caps, then It is a good idea to just change them all. For the small expense, it is worthwhile knowing that your power supply has fresh caps. Try the amp and then see how it goes. If you still have problems, get back to me here and we can talk about it more.

Graeme
