I'm trying to burn some songs in Windows Media Player, it's around 300 MBs of songs going to a 700 MB CD-R. Windows says I can only burn around 15-17 of the songs on one disc.I have no idea why it does this and any insight would be appreciated.

Hey!

Windows Media Player would only allow you 15-17 songs because the type of disc that it will create would be a music CD.

If you want to put in a lot of songs on a CD, it should be a data CD not a music CD.

I suggest you use a burning software that will allow you to make a data CD.

Here's a link that will show you free burning softwares. Click here to get there.

Hope this helps! :D

I put songs into the Rca Folder, but when the Mp3 player is turned on it says there are no songs. It is a RCA Lyra RD1020 Mp3 Player. with a built in 128 Mbs.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I am trying to burn a CD. The playist has 15 songs, 1 hour and 101 MB. I am burning to a CD with 700 MB and 80 minutes of space. iTunes says there isn't enough room on the CD. So, I click to go ahead...

Your CDR is 700MB and you have 101MB of data to burn, isn't it obvious that you have overloaded your data by 31MB for burning? The CDR will not burn in your case. Reduce your intended data to less than 700MB and the CDR will burn.

I have been attempting to burn a cd from my itunes library, it keeps giving me an error 2630. Yes I am using a new blank cd.

What type of CD media does your burner support? CD+R CD-R, CD-RW.
A few suggestions:
CD-RW or re-writables do not support audio burning to CD format.
Are songs being burned as a data disc(unplayable files) or CD audio?
Have you exceeded the 700 to 800 MB range of data that a CD can hold?
Try dropping a couple of songs off the list and see what happens.
Try rebooting the computer and try burning again.
Down load a free version of Nero software and try to burn the CD from there.

I can't download music from audio CDs onto my MP3 player

  1. Insert the CD into the computer.
  2. Open Windows Media Player.
  3. Click the "Rip" button at the top of the audio program. Then, click the arrow directly underneath this arrow. Several options will appear. Choose "Format." More options will appear. Select "Mp3."
  4. Click the box found to the right of the "Album" heading near the top of the program. Once you do, every box to the left of the songs on the CD will be selected.
  5. Choose "Start Rip" at the bottom of the program. The CD will be saved onto the computer as MP3 files and added to the Windows Media Player library.
  6. Plug the MP3 player into the computer.
  7. Click the "Sync" button to the right of the "Rip" button at the top of Windows Media Player.
  8. Select "Songs" under "Library" in the left column of the software program.
  9. Locate the songs on the CD you wish to add to the MP3 player. Select those songs and drag them over to the "Burn List" column on the right side of the media player.
  10. Click "Start Sync" at the bottom of the "Burn List" column. The CD will be placed onto the MP3 player.

To burn cd/dvd you have to check :

1. Your laptop cd/dvd drive have what capability:
- cd writer = only burn cd
- cd writer/dvd reader(combo) = still only burn cd
- dvd writer = can burn cd, dvd single layer(4GB)
- dvd DL writer = can burn cd and dvd single 4GB and dual layer 8GB.
Other than those, is not possible.

2. Must have burn apps named:
- Nero
- Alcohol 120%
- other. search internet.

If you have them then using the apps to burn, just read the manual.

Koam114 is in Korean. I don't understand :)
But If you want songs from website, you should download it first.
Unless the site is giving you a step by step how to burn songs directly to your cd/dvd.
Once downloaded, would be easier to burn to cd/dvd.
