I've had a lot of issues w/ the operation of my MIO C320, including this problem ... but ONLY whenever I tried using any other mini-USB cords (like from my phone or Garmin GPS chargers), with my MIO C320. There's something unique about the mini-USB pin-out configuration MIO uses that allows you to either charge or update their units (using the transfer function), using MIO's supplied mini-USB cables. (I've labeled my MIO cord as "MIO GPS", on a piece of masking tape wrapped around the cord.) I'm trying to recall whether the MIO's cords worked properly w/ all of my other devices, and I can't think of any that did NOT function properly. So, maybe you could experiment and - if that's the case w/ your devices also - avoid further issues by keeping JUST the MIO's charger in your vehicle?. Sorry this is so late, but I hope it helps! Plug it and leave it on charge for at least 4-8h. Try both car charger and USB cable, it could be that the issue is the cable and not the battery

if it connects to your computer with usb you can generally charge it with that

The only thing it can be done is to rewrite the flash through j-tag method, but this must be done in service

visit your local electronic shop or hardware or even do-it-yourself shops for screws that fits on your gadget

the c230 has the maps imbedded in the gps. Your CD that came with it has maps to dowmload to your gps through a USB cable. It does not have other countires.

If its a tomtom one V2 then the only way to charge is via USB . Looks like you need a repair. There are many places to get it repaired other than TomTom but we need to know where in the WORLD you are ? Theres no point in telling you theres a repair shop in Downtown Sidney if you actually live in France .
