Hi, I am having trouble with my LG Ku990i mobile phone, the touch pad calibration won't work & screen has frozen

Touch screen problem

If your touch screen is not working, there are just 2 major causes of such, either a hardware cause which might be either the phone falling on a hard object or in water which could damage the sensor board and either the screen is malfunctioning and needs to be calibrated.

If you can access the menu of the phone, i will advice you calibrate the screen first before you send it to a repair shop. There is no updates to download for such problem as updating the firmware of the phone would do nothing but change the settings of the phone.

To calibrate the screen, you will have to go to the phones menu, go to settings, then you select the calibrate screen, it will show you some stars to touch and once you touch them properly, then your screen will be able to work effectively.

But if you cannot access the menu because of the touch, then i will advice you send it off for repairs, and what to repair on the phone is the sensor board.

Hope this helps you.

The touch screen stoped working

Try to remove the battery of your phone and let it sit for like 5 mins. Try to turn it on and you will be asked for touch calibration. That way you can configure the touch screen functionality. Let me know if it worked.

Can you unlock my KU990i?

No, I can't and please don't input any number in your phone. You must know a lg ku990i unlock code is generated based on your imei number. So, I think you can figure out how other people can give you lg unlock code if they didn't know your imei number? I think you already know the answer, yes! a fake unlock code.
