I have this monitor and a bunch of misc power packs and video cords. I need to make sure I'm going to use the right power pack for this model RAD-9p, therefore I want to identify the right power pack. The one I think belongs to this monitor has a label ADP (Asian Power Devices) Model No. DA-60F19 DC output 19Vdc - 3.16A. Is this the right power pack?? if not can you supply the info that should be on the back of the right power pack - Thank you, Paul Rotondi

many camcorders have a power pack that attaches to the camcorder and then the battery attaches to the power pack you can also put the plug in and run the camcorder when everything's attached

at first i would have said it was the video card in your comp,
but if you have tried it on other computers then that cant be the problem.
So if we no its deffinatey not the video card then it is going to be one of two things.
the first thing is its going to be the power pack over heating thid does happen from time to time and can be resolved by replacing the power adaptor this is the cheaper sollution as long as this is the problem,
The other problem it could be is a solder problem because if the monitor comes on everytime and then switches off the chances are if it is not the power pack then it is going to be a bad solder on one of the resistors this is also a common problem with monitors and television.
Now the problem you have got is do you replace the power pack hoping it is that over heating, but if you do this and it is not this that is to fault then you have wasted your money on a power pack that you dont need but hopefully can get a refund on.
Or do you look at the other option a bad solder this is also not very expensive to repair but without knowing what your looking for and without the equipment to check the resistance and finding where the bad solder is.
If you have tried a different power pack then the problem is going to be a bad solder now you can do this yourself but could take ages to find the fault yourself and buying equipment also expensive.
If you can buy a power transformer on the basis you can take it back if this is not the problem i would try this first but make sure you can get refund if it makes no difference.
If you have the equipment to do it yourself and you know aht you are looking for then this should be inexpensive just the price of some solder aslong as you have all equipment if you dont then take to repair shop tell them the problem and they should fix this for a small fee would be alot cheaper than replacing the monitor let me know what you want to do.
If you are capable of doing this yourslef you will need spec sheet but not having an idea what you are looking for will mean you wont find the problem and alot of people totally destroy the unit trying to repair themselves let me know

Remove the power cord from the back of the computer, take the side panel off the computer so you can see the motherboard, take out the system memory, looks like this >>>>

get a clean, dry soft paintbrush and clean the brass contacts and the slots that the memory (ram) goes into of dust and any other foreign objects.
When you are satisfied that all the dust has gone reseat the memory back into the slots making sure they/it clips into place nice and tight, put back the side panel, plug the power cord back in and try to restart the PC.

OK you need a volt meter to check the voltage output of your power pack as two things cause this now enough power out the pack to run your unit or the unit has a short both problems will unlight the light so you need to know if the power supply is working right first as it should say like 120 volts AC in and 12 volts DC 1000 ma out so you will need to mesure this with a volt meter. this is a common problem loading the load of the curcuit as in your TV is mor the the power pack is giving out thus shorting out the power pack of any voltage present, as the little LED light your seeing only takes 5 volts at very ittle current to light and dose not repersent the total voltage output of the power pack itself

i have a sony TRV 12 E which is not getting switched on even by AC power and even when i remove the batt pack. can this happen if batt pack is fully discharged? should i change the batt pack.?

Confirm the system is not in HOLD mode
Make sure the PSP system is not in Hold Mode (in the down position). Slide the Power/Hold switch up to clear Hold Mode. Or try sliding the Power/Hold switch up and holding it there until the power indicator light turns off and the PSP system is completely turned off. Then try turning the PSP on again.

• Confirm the backlight is ON
  Make sure the LCD screen's backlight is not turned off. If it is, press any button to turn ON the backlight.
  
  
• Confirm use of only licensed products (AC Adaptor, battery pack and charger)
  The AC Adaptor, battery pack and battery charger must be licensed for use with the PSP system. All licensed products for use with the PSP will have the following logos displayed directly on the product and/or the packaging:
  
  If any of the products you are using does not have these logos on them, we recommend that you immediately discontinue the use of these products, as they void the PSP system's warranty, and can cause damage to the system. See compatible peripherals for the PSP system for a full list of supported products.
  There are some products that can be used with the PSP system that may not display our logos. Products such as San Disk 1GB Memory Sticks, or various USB cables, needs only to be genuinely certified. • Try the AC adaptor and the PSP battery pack

• Try the AC adaptor / power cord only

Most monitors take this one. However, a lot of LCDs take a specialized power pack / power cord. If this isn't the one, please supply your monitor model and I can find you the right one.

When you got the pc, you should have been given a starter pack with some CD-ROM's in the pack, one of them should be the drives for the monitor, you might need to use anothermonitor to see the instructions, but the basic graphics card should power the monitor enough to set things up, until then you won't be able to adjust the settings.
