Where can i get the drivers for a sharp al-1655cs laser printer for free i have tried googkle i have called sharp and have had no luck

I have a Sharp AL 1655CS replaced toner & drum last week, cleaned glass & covers,vacummed old toner and copies a terrible..do I need a tech to diagnose and make the repair?

Cannot scan using Sharp AL-1655CS

Make sure that you install the driver for your operating system. Check the stop of the scanner under copying table to the left.Do installing the equipment from panel of management. Check in "system" of the "panels of management" consumption resource of your printer and scanner. The Driver of the scanner is fixed from printer apart. Arouse update the drivers in accordance with your operating system.Windows or Vista or Linuks on put www.sharp.com

I'm not sure where you downloaded the printer driver but the Sharp website has a download link to the printer and scanner driver according to their website.

hi maryanne,delete all the sharp AL 1655cs programme and reinstall the printer software (INSTALL PRINTER) if need more help please log on to sharp copier web site for the manual instruction..before that make sure your printer is compatible for your PC.

Hi There,

Here's the download site for your printer. None of the drivers available for download are for MAC OS of any kind. You might try contacting Sharp from this site to ask about an alternative download page for MAC. It may be that, 1. Sharp does not support MAC for this machine at all or 2. The driver is embedded in some MAC OSs but not others.

Take a look and good luck.You might also try Googling some MAC forums and see if someone has had any success finding a MAC driver for this machine.
