I have a LG LP1200DXR and IT doesn't cool and it hasn't asked to drain in alot of months

If it hasnt been drained then there is likely a float switch that is keeping the compressor from running so that it doesnt overflow.

I have the LG LP1200DXR and it is leaking near the wheel and i cant figure out why, when we drain it no water comes out what could the problem be?

All air conditioners collect condensate. It has to drain somewhere. Try connecting tubing to the drain hole or port. In order for air conditioners to remove heat from a space, they also remove humidity, which is water vapor in the air. Like placing a cold beverage in a warm room, it will form condensate (water) around it. The water that you were trying to drain out already leaked out. This is a normal thing for condensation to form when cooling. The condensate needs to be emptied regularly or piped with flexible tubing to a window or plumbing. This is the same as water dripping from your car while the A/C is on.

My LG LP1200DXR Portable Air Conditioner seems to be working properly, cooling the room as it should but no longer is draining any water. It does not shut off as it would when it is full although I have...

Actually, your unit was not designed for continuous draining. It needs water in the tank to help cool the coils. I'm sort of surprised that the unit hasn't stopped cooling or hasn't overheated. Since you haven't seen any water in the drain tank you have, it may have pasted the point of no return. Disconnect the hose, reinstall the drain plug and hope that you have to start emptying the tank again, soon.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

LG 1210 BXR portable air conditioner collecting water on "cool" setting. How do you fix this?

In AC mode, the unit still has some dehumidifying properties. So, it may be that there is more humidity in the air this Summer, than in prior years. Having to empty the tank every 24 hours is not unusual. Be sure that the air intake filter is clean & check the exhaust hose for obstructions.

Hope this helped you & thanks fr choosing FixYa.

Air conditioner shuts down constantly, need to

Sorry but you are just going to have to keep emptying it. These types or air conditioners are also use as de-humidifiers and unless you can place it somewhere where you can connect a drain hose it is going to require many trips to dump the holding tank of the condensation.

Why does the water collection tank on my LG LP1200DXR have to be emptied daily?

because the unit is removing a lot of humidity from the air into the form of condensation.
