speaking from the point of view of one of the mind readers out here , id have to agree with you , it does make it a challenge to figure out just what there talking about , maybe fix-ya needs to develop a form to fill out for folks to be able to post any question , this would go miles towards getting better answers ( make, model #, year purchased, etc .) basic stuff like that

Get on Google, and type something like "<make> <model> manual", you should know what the make and model is, you should have posted all of that information.

Faking attention - would be pretending to listen to someone who is talking and making them think you are actually interested in what they are saying. Some people fake attention so they will not seem rude to the speaker. Others do it because the person speaking is an authority figure and they do not want to get into trouble. Guy's do it when their girlfriends are babbling and so on.

My Sister loves to talk. She talks 24/7 and does not stop. The things that she talks about are silly and useless knowlege. I can only tolerate her for small periods of time before the noise irritates me and makes me angry. Sometimes when she is talking about nothing that I want to hear about, my mind wonders and thinks about other things that I am interested in. While my mind in wondering, I no longer hear what she is saying. Allowing my mind to wonder blocks out her speaking and gives me a little break. While my mind is wondering, my eyes and attention seemed fixed on her as if I were listening. I have even learned to say "really" or "umm hmm" whenever she pauses between sentences in order to fake that I am paying attention. When she is finished speaking I have no clue what she thinks that we spoke about? It is a mean thing to do but all of us are guilty of it at some point in our lives.

you need to use a computer generated voice to speak street names.

tap the little wrench icon, then settings, then scroll down to the language setting, the select a voice that has TTS next to it.....(TTS = text to speech)

Take a look here and follow the instructions to set up a wireless network. You will have to make sure all the computers that are not directly connected to the router or modem have wireless cards installed on them.

Please let us know what model printer you have, and the exact problem. Speaking generally, you need to make sure that the cartridges are properly installed, and that all required are there and in proper placement. Then you should follow the instructions to install the printer to your PC, and then be able to print without issue.

Right click my computer and go to manage. Go to disk management. Does your drive show up there? If so, right click to assign it a letter.
