I'm using the samsung SWA 4000, and it will not connect with my receiver. They were purchased as a home theater set all made my samsung, so I know they're compatible. Also, they were just working last week, but I've recently moved, and they just stopped syncing.

Follow this:
1. Turn OFF your SWA4000 wireless receiver and unplug the power chord.
2. Take out the TX card from your home theater system (HTS) while its OFF/ no power. Switch the HTS ON and then OFF, just to recognize that the TX card has been removed.
3. Then, while your HTS is OFF, put back the TX card (make sure it fits perfectly).
4. Now, plug the power chord back to your SWA4000 receiver and turn it ON.
5. Turn ON your HTS, and your good to go.

Will a swa 5000 tx card fit a ht-tz225 home theater ststem

Unfortunately it would appear not. I just bought an SWA 5000 for my HT TZ 225 home threatre system as it would seem the SWA 4000 has been discontinued - the HT-TZ225 refers to the SWA 4000 doesn't it.

The tx card that accompanied the SWA 5000 was too big and did not fit in the back of the DVD player so I will have to return this to the retailer and keep looking for an SWA 4000 . . .

Unless anyone has another solution.

I'm having problems getting my swa-4000 system to work tried the code and holding down the reset button i have an ht-x715t system and the tx card is in right any idea's thanks

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

Just connected the SWA-4000 wireless amplified to my samsung ht-z310 - the readout on the display is "Rear Chk" there is no sound from the rear speakers- any help is appreciated

swa-4000 wireless module isn't compatible with htz310. You need to buy Samsung's swa-3000 to work with your htz310. I had the same problem. It tells you in your owners manual under conectivity where it explains about hooking up a wireless module(pg.55-60). I hope this helps.

Wireless speakers

Google "Samsung SWA-4000" The HTz310 is wireless "ready" only. You'll need to purchase this unit for about $100 to make your (Rears only) wireless.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.

Problem with wireless conection between Samsung SWA-4000 and Samsung home theatre.

turn the main dvd player off, and press 0,1,3,5 on your remote, then turn on the player and the rear wireless receiver at as close to the same time as you can. should then light up the blue "link" light permanently.
