1. Make sure the furnace or air conditioner blower is running. 2. Make sure the access door is firmly closed and latched. If door is not closed properly, an interlock keeps the air cleaner off.
Sounds like the filter is damaged or has bent fins.Make sure all the fins are not touching eachother, or they will arch and keep buzzing and flashing.Also there is a wire on the incoming air side of the filter(between each fin) to precharge the particales entering the filter .make sure the wires are not broken.good luck--Nate
