Using the polycom VSX 8000 for meetings-- we are not able to hear what the other side of the call. The receiver can hear and see clearly. I know it is our problem because I tried several diff locations. What could this be caused from? Someone said something about far mute... Can you help?
If you cant hear anything then this is a firewall issue not the VSX8000. Call us for port openings. 415.637.9989 . If the unit works on a LAN but not outside your firewall this is what it is. If it does not work on a LAN then it is the VSX8000..
Try increasing the volume using the remote. Also have you connected external speakers?
