The super is for super cold and on that setting it might not cut off. If it's not on that setting then that control is probably bad.
Your model number is needed for more information.
It's usually stamped on a small tag in a visible location on your appliance.
Refrigerator-
Behind the lower toe kick-plate, Behind the lower crisper drawer, On the face frame of the refrigerator body, Inside the refrigerator of freezer on the left or right side wall.

Check the door seal is not split,it may be letting air into the compartment

You said, you recently had a problem with my Candy fridge freezer (it defrosted overnight and wasnt cooling at all) and a repair shop diagnosed a thermostat problem. I have replaced the thermostat, Now the freezer freezes without any problems but the fridge does not go cold at all.
Also the compressor is running constantly

This is my first thought

Fresh Food temperature is
too warm. Freezer
temperature is satisfactory.
1. Fresh Food control is set too
warm.
2. Set fresh food control to a colder setting. Allow 24
hours for temperature to stabilize.

3.Then see if you do not have your freezer articles packed full up to the top, or covering the cold air vents usually found in the rear of the freezer compartment.

The fridge and the freezer share the cold air so the air must not be restricted from travel form the freezer to the fridge and back!
This would also cause the compressor to run none stop trying to cool the fridge!
So check your air vents in the freezer.
I'll bet you did not know they were there !
Most of us never notice!

you can decrease the setting of your thermostat for a start.

very simple fault - drain hole is blocked. push something flexible down the hole till it clears and water flows away freely

Check and set both temperature adjustments, one for freezer should be no more than 1/2 and the refrigerator also as a starting point.
