I have an NX409 Clarion and am looking to update navigation. The online manual shows in the main setup screen, under Misc, a toggle for nav update. My version does not show this. Is there a code to enter from the remote to access this. Also saw a brake bypass toggle was on that screen as well.

Clarion support is useless. I have a manual but it shows that I can access the misc. setup menu and turn on/off parking sensor, update software and update nav. My unit does not show these options.

• Press Menu button.

• Select Navigation on screen.

• Select Setting from screen.

• Select Navigation from screen.

• Scroll to Version Info and select from screen.

• Map 07 08 is current map and does not need to be updated.

if that doesnt work i can provide you the right solution by tomorrow.

Hey I recently tried updating my clarion nx409 but the update was for a nx500. Is their any way I can re update the old navi software? Please help me out bro !!!

there is no update for the navigation yet,aside from the pre-installed one that came with it from the factory of the manufacturers.

I know that the update is not available yet, what I am wondering is why the manual shows that I can access these things and my unit does not show them. When the update does arrive, how am I supposed to update? Check out http://www.clarion.com/ca/en/MungoBlobs/... . page 43 and notice all the choices under misc setup. I get TS Calibrate, Set Password, Parental Control and Load Factory. There must be a way to access the rest of the choices unless Clarion has removed them and did not update their manual. Is there a code, easter egg perhaps, to access these?
