Did you try re-setting the tape. Its reset switch is located right to AUX-IN pin.

my unit ended up doing the same thing. I bought it from a seller on ebay (lessco electronics I believe it was) and it stopped working while under warranty. Whenever I tried to contact the seller he ignored my calls.

To this date I still have not gotten the unit to work again. Very disappointed with the head unit and the seller. I will never buy from him again. AVOID HIM!!!

to save you having it in park connect the grass green wire to earth then you can watch dvd's whilst u drive

Have you tried resetting the unit using the small reset button on the face?
