lousy answers all of them. There can be two things happening. One I have not found a cure for yet. First replace the toner cartridge, even if you just replaced it. This should resolve it. Just because you might have just replaced a toner cartridge does not mean it is not faulty.

The second part to this problem I have seen is when you print a demo page it looks fine but when you print a usage page or configuration there are speckles. This one I am working on. Yours is most likely just a faulty toner cartridge. Seen it many times.

1. Go to menu set as default.
2. Do color calibration.
3. Print PQ test pages, observe the colors, chk
4. Print demo page. chk
5. Print from different file/system..

clean the paper path rollers. usually if toner cartridges are refilled type they are overfull and spill toner on paper path.

try changing the toner, this usually fixes the problem. If it's a new toner, then likely it's defective. You may be able to return it to the place you purchased it reporting the problem. More common in refurbished toner cartridges.

You have something stuck on your drum. See page 125 of your manual to clean it--it's just isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip, but don't scrub. This happens (too) often to some people I know.

Is the "imprint" in the same spot on every page?
It the spot white (no toner) or black/color (toner)
Is is most probably an imperfection (scratch) on on of the image drum.You can remove and inspect, just don't thumb the actual drum when you do. It could also be one of the developer units. They can also be replaced.

Have you tried the toner cartridge?? IF not please do so. Failing this clean out the middle of the machine with a dry cloth as you may have loose toner in there. Try this if it doesn't work then the laser unit may have a fault.

if you replaced the cartridge and the streaks are still there then it's the fuser. you can try to clean the "fuser" roller with a little alcohol and your finger nail (after it's cooled down) to scratch off the toner, if it's an actual scratch on the roller you need to replace the fuser as it will pickup toner again and leave marks.
