It's not so much removing Denied in Admin as it is enabling whatever feature the user was trying to access at that set.

If there is another phone that this doesn't happen on, try changing your handset with that one. If this doesn't fix the problem it most likely is your telephone.

This requires a programming change that has to be done on a M7310 or M7324 phone by someone that understands programming.

go to phone menu.
go to setting.
go to phone setting.
goto tone change to tone

Programming on the nortel system is done on M 7310, M 7324, or T 7316 sets only.hopfully the receptionist station has one of the larger sets.

The Nortel T7208 set is propriatary which requires an MICS, CICS, or a BCM system to make it work.

The feature is called "Call Forward/No Answer" - the procedure is in the Norstar System manual.

On the newer norstar systems the T7208 and lower phones can not be used for programming.The T7316e phone has to be used for programming therefore feature 983 will only work on the T7316e set.To change local dn's you have to go into config programming and to change dn old dn then new dn.

On the right hand side of ur keypad there will be 8 buttons. Third button from top will be ur change button if u r using T7208 or M7208 phones.
