Just bought a house and the built in Jenn-Air Microwave, oven combo unit is on the fritz. I *think* the JMC7000 diode is bad. I want to test it, but removing the microwave from the housing seems challenging.
After taking on the bezel face plate the surrounds the microwave, there appears to be a bunch of brackets that keep the unit inplace. There is no easy access to an screws or anything.
Any ideas? Any links to oven/microwave install instructions, so I can reverse the process?

First of all, what are the symptoms? Please reply back and I'll be happy to share my thoughts.
Many parts can be accessed without removing the oven from the wall by just removing the control panel.
You need to be sure the cord is unplugged, then you remove the vent grille that runs across the top.
Then you'll see a screw holding the control panel in place. Once that screw is out, you can lift out and out carefully to separate the control panel form the chassis.
If you pull any wires off the control panel, mark and/or photograph them first to be sure you get them ALL back in the right place.
There may also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel, which is very helpful when troubleshooting.

While they don't have their installation instructions online, the owner's manual is online here.

Thanks for the reply.
The symptoms are a loud noise with about half heating capacity. From an earlier poster it has been suggested that this is a diode problem (likely) or could be the magnetron. [Personally, I'm not a fan of Jenn-Air and would buy a replacement - but finding an exact size has proved challenging].
It is heartening to read that I can access some parts from the front. I'll poke around and look for the screws you are talking about. I'll cross check with a parts diagram that you linked to.
Since I can't get the unit unplugged, I'll have to switch off a breaker. Discharging the cap shouldn't be a big problem if I get a screw-driver to it.
