Sounds like the screen could have gone or the motherboard has something to do with it, try opening it up but be careful just to make sure everything is intact

hi to all, my fix on the padlock situation was to hold the display button on the remote for ten seconds, i have a telefunken ttv2131

i found out in my in dept probing around the line output transformer has gone so no tv it is to get recycled
