Turn the treadmill on and the display comes on... program is manual and all displays read 0. No buttons work except the "+" speed works but then to stop need to unplug key. Checked reed switch and didn't make a difference. Interesting thing is when you leave it unplugged overnight, then the machine will work just fine until you unplug or turn it off again then it's same thing. Display lights, none of the touchpad works, including fan, except the "+" speed key.

From the owners manual:
HOW TO LOWER THE TREADMILL FOR USE
1. Hold the upper end of the treadmill with your right hand.
Pull the latch knob to the left and hold it. It may be necessary
to push the frame forward as you pull the knob to
the left. Pivot the frame downward and release the latch
knob.
2. Hold the metal frame firmly with both hands and lower
it to the floor. CAUTION: Do not grip only the plastic
foot rails or drop the frame to the floor. Bend your legs
and keep your back straight.

The drive belt was loose. I tightened up the motor just a smidge using a crow bar. That solved the problem.

If what you say is that all functions are working (start, speed up , down and incline up,down) then the upper console lighting may have loose wire harness( check first) bad soldier connection or the components that generate the images on the LCD are defective. If you have good connections on the wire harness then you may need to replace the upper console.
