Starts up with"System date error! Please check NDS system date."

Not able to access games list on R4 due to above problem.

Ideas already tried.. and failed:
- removing games that have cheats on them.
- resetting the date to correct present day.

The R4 was tried in another DS and it worked fine so I know it's not a games/R4 issue, and resetting the date clearly isn't working.

Help!!!!!

Change your ds date back before 14 april 2010. Now you can play.
Wait for a kernel update.

Due to the fault of our R4 team,except R4(I) SDHC V2.0，all the kernels can not work normally base on the date after 14th, April, 2010. The issues are the system date error and when you booting up the consoles, you couldn't enter into the main manu. We are awfully sorry for this. The temporary solution is to adjust your system date before 14th, April, 2010. R4 team will remedy this bug with the latest kernel and do the activity to reward the consumers! The latest information for this activity will be released at www.r4isdhc.com and www.nds9.com. Please pay more attention to this!

I was charging my DS lite when my puppy knocked it off. when I started it up, it said: "system date error! please check NDS System date" What do I do?? Is my r4 broken? ><
Check you Dsi system date and time,this need to be accurate for R4 card to work properly,put that date and time since it was giving that error,wont work with todays date.Also update your system with new and original software.

It's a bug issue in the firmware of the R4 cards. Won't work after 14 april 2010 unless you update the firmware of the R4 card.
For the time being you can set back the date before 14 april 2010 and it wil work directly.

Repair system date error on R4 chip
all u have 2 do is take the r4 card out, go to the options and change the date back about a year. that should work. this happened to me today and i fixed it by doin that. i hope it works for u to!
