Intel does not currently plan to develop and offer Windows 7 drivers for any of the discontinued desktop boards... your board is one among the discontinued boards....so what you can do is install the driver in compatibilty mode for win7...right click on setup file > select properties > select compatibilty tab > select "run this program compatible for win xp"...the problem may get lost for sure....
or else you can go to device manager > select VGA adapters > right click and select update driver >select "advanced method to install" >locate the file "xxxx.inf" from your driver cd and continue with installation....

there is no vga adapters in my intel desktop board d865gsa when i install windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

you will have Display adapters, instead of VGA adapters... or you will have unknown display device in the device manager. you can update the drivers for any of these...

With a decent video card, lots of memory and a dual core processor it could - just don't expect great performances.

There are no official drivers, if you get your boards specs, find what chipsets it uses, you may be able to download the drivers from the chipset manufacturers
Your manual with your chipset details is here http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15204/eng/D865GSA_ProductGuide01_English.pdf

SOURCE: i have intel d865gsa mother

There arent any official drivers for anything above windows xp which have been released for this particular board.

Windows 7 on the other hand should install a chipset driver and get you up and going automatically with windows update.

When intel (or other manufacturers) do not have drivers for newer operating systems on their websites, it means that they have not been released yet.

With older operating systems, sometimes they stop support for them.. but on newer os's, it is in their best interest to supply them via the website.

Unfortunately, intel doesnt have em. sorry!

Hello there, your board does not have support for the Windows 7 operating system, what you need to do is to probably change your Windows to XP or Vista and you will be able to get the Video drivers here:
