Audio Technica PRO-35: need wiring diagram for mic end

The mic end of the cable became intermittent and I took the mic apart. The three wires were loose and not connected to the mini circuit board and I need to solder them back on. So need a diagram or text depicting which wire (red, white, shield) goes to which pad on the tiny PCB. I assume the shield goes to the middle as it appears to contact the mic case. Thanks!

If you feel the shield goes to the middle, try red on one terminal and white on the other. If not, reverse it.

If it's labeled on the circuit board...pin 1, pin 2, pin 3, then pin 1 is usually ground, pin 2 is hot (red), and pin 3 is cold.

How to dissasemble Audio Technica earworn mic connector? Need to repair Audio Technica earworn mic with damaged cable.

You probably can't disassemble the factory connector. What you CAN do is find a replacement connector (internet) that's designed for retrofit to your cable and install it on the good section of the cable.

How to disassemble audio technica pro 45

For anyone googling this, to take apart the audio technica pro 45 just peel off the sticker on the bottom to remove the three hidden screws. Everything then just slides out the bottom.

How should I connect an ATM73a headset to a sennheiser SK300

Audio Technica and Sennheiser each have proprietary connectors for their mics. A lot of times the mics require Phantom power which is drawn from the battery of the pack. This is important as the mic will need to be wired correctly to function.
The first thing you will need is the correct plug from the company. Check with Sennheiser customer Support for the correct part. If you aren't extremely good at soldering, do not attempt this. You can change the plug but the wires are extremely delicate and can short easily. Moreover because of the phantom power, the plug must be wired correctly for the mic to function, or you may end up damaging the mic by sending phantom power up the wrong line. I would advise having a music store or pro audio service that handles these products do the wiring for you. If you feel you are up to it, you can do it yourself, but be careful.

Will phantom power damage my audio technica DR-VX1 microphones?

No it will not. The reason for the word phantom is that it does not affect microphones that don't need it (apart from some types of ribbon mics)

Need the wiring diagram for a audio-technica

I believe on the 4 pin connector of the pack, pin 1 is shield/ground and pin 2 is low impedance input. One of the other pins is bias voltage and the other is high impedance.

In the UNIT I had, there was a connection diagram someplace in the battery compartment, either on the cover or the case. As I recall it had poor conrast to read and find it so check closely.

Audio technica at 4040 constant ground hum noise

you can test the cable from connection to connection for continuity from end to end. There should be no resistance( a complete short) If the cable is good, there is a bad or broken connection inside the mic. Good Luck
