Windows 7 was recently released operating system (OS). Most devices that are out in the market does not carry a driver for Win 7.

The error that you've got means that the CD does not have the compatible driver for Win 7. You need to contact the manufacturer of your Bluetooth device to verify if the device is supported by Win 7. And if it does, I'm sure that the manufacturer has a driver for it.

Good luck!

I tried searching for the available driver for your Jabra A320S, but there's no available driver for Win 7.

I would like to apologize, but I don't think that this device is supported by Win 7.

    Thank you!

Hi,

Assuming you're trying to install the right drivers for your OS (32bit / 64bit), you can google readydriverplus, which just automatically turns off driver signing at bootup - helps with stuff like peerguardian. I used it in Vista and it seems to work fine w/ Windows 7. Just a thought.

Good luck!
And Thanks.

Hi there i have a umax astra slim se scanner. i am running window 7 on my laptop. therefore i need a driver for the scanner to run on window 7. i did download one before but i dont think it was compatible...

I think you may have a problem, I went to UMax's web site and they have drivers for Vista but not Windows 7. But we can try something that may work for you since Vista is the previous version before Windows 7. If this doesnt work I suggest you contact Umax and ask for a driver from their technical support or even ask them if they have a beta driver for your scanner.

OK here is what I need you to do. First disconnect the cable from your scanner to your computer. Then go to Umax's website (the link is below) click on it or copy and paste it into your web browser address bar.

http://www.umax.com/support/knowledge/specifications.jsp?model=Astra+2200

Once your there your only option for a driver will be for vista down load it and install it on the computer. It may say that it is not digitally signed do you want to install it any way? Just say yes. Once its installed then plug your scanner in to your computer, "Your scanner must be powered on like you were going to use it". When you plug it in you may get a pop up window saying a new device or driver is being installed, just let it complete what it has to do. Then reboot your computer (restart) and when you computer comes back up try and scan see if it scans better for you. If it does your ok, if it doesnt then contact Umax's support and ask for the driver.

I hope this helps you out if it does then leave me a YES that I did indeed help you. Thank you

Hi, My computer doesnt recognize the cd\dvd drive....

Hello there!
You won't probably be able to find drives because Sony, the makers of Optiarc, rely on Windows to supply the drivers.

You can right click the devices and remove them. If Windows asks, check the box to removed files as well.

Then reboot the computer. That may do it on it's own.

If not, run Windows update, and make sure to check the section about optional updates.

Windows 7 will not load drivers from Asus CD because they are not digitally signed

Get Linux (Mint 7 is AWESOME!). Easy to use (anyone whom I have asked say it is easier than Vista/WinBlows 7). Another common distro people use to switch from the virus (Wind0ze) to freedom (Linux, duh) is Ubuntu. I recommend Intrepid (Ubuntu 8), as 9 is unstable (still considered beta).

A lot of peoples' main concern is availability/compatibility of/with programs. There are programs available for everything I need, and I use a LOT (Office, terminal emulators, photo/movie players/adjustment programs, etc.), and they are FREE (so are cracked Wind0z3 progs, but, well...you know...), and actually have GREAT support!

As far as your problem goes---it should offer to add an exception, or to install anyway. Seems in your case it did not, so maybe Program Control needs to be shut off so that everything can be run as roo...I mean administrator...WHEW! That was close!
