The Onyko TX-DS595 receveiver won't respond to remote.

The TX-DS595 receveiver won't respond to remote(s). Remotes are OK. One is the orig remote and the other remote is a learning remote. I've replaced batteries in remotes and have disconnected power from receiver for about 5 minutes. Receiver works ok when using the controls on the front of the unit. Unit is about 9 years old. Have not had any problems with it before.

just wondering if anyone solved this? I'm having the same issues with my Onkyo TX-DS 595. The remote is fine because I bought an original tested one and same results. I'm wondering if the IR extender on the back of the receiver could be a work around or does the IR sensor in the unit have to be in good working order?

When unit is on hold down vcr button and press standy power button. display will read 'CLEAR". turn back on and see if remote works. note that this will erase any of your settings. Point the remote at any camera and look at the camera display. If you see a white light when you press buttos remote is working. Remove the top cover, remove front cover and resolder connections on remote receiver. If you intend to do this let me know and I can give you more details.

Hello my name is Ivan.I vant to know is there for this model remote Onkyo TX-DS565.My courier was [email protected]

I'm not aware of Onkyo having made a receiver model TX-DS565. Perhaps there's a typo in your message? Did you instead mean Onkyo model TX-DS595? Google search and Remotes.com has listings for the remote for TX-DS595.

Need Onkyo tx-nr616 remote code so ATT U-verse remote can control Onkyo

I used 5002 and it works for on/off only. This is better than nothing. You can try codes from other Onyko devices to see if you can get one that provides more functional control.

Display doesn't light up on Onkyo TX-DS595 reciever

try to connect the receiver to a tv via the monitor out from the receiver to the tv. you may be able to see the OSD (on screen display of your settings) change the function on that to turn on the front display. alternatively look on your remote to see if you can turn up the light of the front display.

if these don't work possible that the light of the display has blown
