Samsung LN-S4051D slow to turn on.

The problem occurs when attempting to turn on the Samsung LN-S4051D, 40", LCD TV using either the remote or by pressing the power button on the TV.

You can hear two relay clicks and the small red led in the power switch blinks four times. The TV will automatically repeat this sequence at 30 second intervals until the set finally turns on. This may take as much as 15 minutes. When teh TV finally turns on you hear a "bleep" and picture and sound come on within a couple of seconds.

The problem seems to be growing worse. It does not seem to be tempreture related. It seems to be the same if the TV has been off for a long or short time. It still happens I have had the TV unplugged for a few minutes.

You are likely to have a module bad....part number BN94-00864A and if you take it out (unpluggs) you should inspect it for capacitors that may be domed or pooched up at the top. If so they should be replaced first before getting the module as the capacitors are about $1.00 each. Do a search for Samsung parts online if you need the module and call them toll free

How to solder capacitors on a tv

Just look the old ones' soldering, and do the same. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact any experienced service technician, or the nearest service center.

Samsung 40" flat screen looses sound

this problem started on my LN-S4051D a couple of years ago. eventually the sound stopped working altogether. I then started using my surround sound speakers for the TV via optical out but soon that stopped working as well. I recently took the TV to a repair shop who said that the main board is bad and needs to be replaced. Labor plus parts was going to cost me $400. I said no thanks and paid for the estimate. Good luck.

Can I replace a blown speaker in the Samsung LN-s4051d? If so, how?

You have to take the TV rear panel out and just install a new one, you can get it here.

I have a Samsung LN-S4051D. Power on delay?

Is probably that the power supply is having issues with a component, it might be something very simple, since tv still turns ON, is probably that is just one capacitor or another component. If you can have someone to electronic sabby to check the oiwer supply they might be able to determine where is the issue, if not just take it to a shop, it shloudnt be expensive
