You should have left it dry instead of turning it on, you probably have corrosion now, find a local place that works on phones to see if they'd work on it.

If you want to try to completely dry it, put it in rice for 24 hours minimum to draw out all moisture.

SOURCE: dropped razor in toilet

Sounds like it is done for, yes. I know a way to save electronics if they are dumped in water, but it requires to fill it with water replacing fluids. Putting it in pure alcohol right away (remove battery first) might save it, as ir should replace the water and then evaporate completey when you take it out. Some contacts have probably corroded in your phone, so unless you are (or know) a repairman of electronics you'll probably need a new phone. :-/

SOURCE: cell phone

if the phone didn't get wet or u can't see a visibly broken screen then ur lcd may still be working, u simply may need to re seat the ribbon cable that connects the lcd by un screwin the 4 screws that hold the display n pryin in open from the mid section of each side then use somthing flat to lift the connector n replacing it pressin firmly.

SOURCE: cell pjone water damage

Unfortunately it may be too late...the phone should have been turned off the battery should be taken out as soon as it was taken out of the water...this keeps circuits from shorting out...

BUT...it never hurts to try everything...

Place the phone in a sealed container full of uncooked rice, and leave it there for at LEAST 3 days...thats 72 hours of not powering it up...as tempting as it is to "check"

You have to give the rice time to draw out any moisture.

Hope this helps.

It fell in the toliet

well this is a long shot but lets try it..

1.) remove the battery and open up the phone
2.) separate screen circuit boats keypads etc.
3.) use a hair dryers and dry it as best as you can
4.) fill a large bowl with a little rice, place the parts in them and cover it with more rice (the rice draws out the moisture thats the logical reason for it)
5.) leave over night,
6.) dry with hair dryer again in the morning, let cool and reassemble..

hopefully it will work.. (depends on if the circuit board was shorted out or not, it it was its dead, if it wasn't well it will be working now)

Cell phone

sorry but oncce they get wet they never work the same again
It may come to life if you leave it dry a little while longer but the damage is done
You will find if it starts to work again that all sorts of faults will occur as time goes bye
