Microwave doesn't have any power, ** Display, **thing...

My microwave, KitchenAid KHMS147KSS-0, suddenly went dead. ** display, nothing... The power coming to the receptacle is good. I checked both fuses in the microwave and both measured good. I plug in the microwave and the power is going past the fuses, proving the fuses are good. I removed and measured both micro-switches on door (upper and lower) and they are working.

Here is a schematic of the circuit. What am I missing?

When I measure the black and white wire on the LV transformer, I get .8 ohms. On the blue and red wire, I get infinite ohms. This tells me that the transformer winding is faulty. Do you agree? If so, can you give me the price for this part to zip code 80112? Item is stamped with #461964874701.

Thanks for much for your help!!

Nice touch with the diagram. Thanks!

The neutral line passes through the cavity thermostat, which may be open. In the schematic, it's left of the center bottom.

In the pictorial diagram, it's located just below where you added the note "120V OK". Its top half is cut off in the picture and it has blue and white wires attached.

Also, the low voltage (LV) transformer shows fuses in its primary and secondary, although one or both may be internal and inaccessible.

It may also be a problem on the control board, which we repair nationwide for only $39.95 postpaid. Feel free to reply back if you need further assistance.

Microwave was working fine. Suddenly stopped.

First thing to try is to check the power point.
If there is power there, but still no activity when you turn it on, no display no lights, it will need to be taken in for service. Sorry for the bad news but hopefully it's just the circuit breaker for your power point.
