I Fixed it with a new 470uf 10v cap ps its the one next to the circle copper wrapped wire than CS29 is written next to it.
Just replace it and it will start work again.
Are you certain that the capacitor was installed the correct way? Check the direction of flow positive vs negative I wonder if it was installed backwards?
A Firmware issue ; try doing a hard reset on it

Hi, we can hard reset the router for about a minute, powerlight should be blinking the moment we reset the router, if case still all lights are lit but powerlight is solid. We can do these steps:
> Connect computer to router
> Open control panel - network connections - right click local are connection
> Click status and go to support
> Check for IP address, if we have IP: 192.168.1.x IP address on the computer
> Please open command prompt
- (for WinXP) go to start and click run, type cmd
- (for win7 and winVISTA) click start and type on start search cmd
> On the black screen, there is a blinking cursor type ping(space)192.168.1.1
> If we are getting Request timed out - that means router is defective
- if we are getting Reply from responses... then there is a need to upgrade the router...

I have same problem. I was able to manually assign IP of 192.168.1.2 and was able to connect to 192.168.1.1 (the d-link) but it keeps asking for Factory Supplied Firmware From ISP. I flash it with the firmware but then it crashes again.

Have you run the Setup CD that came with it?
If so, then I suggest resetting the router by pushing the reset button. Download the latest firmware from Cisco and then connect to it by opening your browser on a hardwired (direct connected) computer and typing 192.168.1.1 in the command line. From there you will enter the usual USER name of "admin" without the quotations. Upgrade the firmware and you should be set. You may need to teak the settings a bit to get what you prefer from your router, but that is personal preference.

First try unplugging it for about 45 seconds. Then plug it back in.
If this does not fix the problem try to reset it via the reset button on the back and see if that fixes the problem. This will make your network un-secure and you will have to add a new pass phrase.
Let me know if this solves the problem.
