Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Try using the S-Video output and then try using the VGA output from the VSX 6000 unit. The unit can be fixed to output from either as the first monitor output (you may have the dual monitor option enabled). If this does not work the resolution of the TV might be HD, the output of your VSX 6000 is Standard Definition. You will need a monitor that accepts standard definition. If this does not work, I would reboot your VSX 6000 and try again. David
First, try setting your monitor refresh rate at 60Hz using a known-working monitor. (The VGA input of the Beovision 7 is recommended for 60Hz refresh rate). If this fails to produce output from the Beovision 7, it is very likely, your video driver's resolution is set too high for the Beovision 7 to display signal. If you are using the Beovision 7 as your primary monitor, first connect a known-working monitor to the computer and reduce the resolution to 1024x768. Once you have changed the resolution, try connecting the Beovision 7. If you get video signal, increase the resolution incrementally until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will handle.
IF YOU ARE USING THE BEOVISION 7 AS A SECONDARY MONITOR USING EXTENDED DESKTOP, reduce the resolution on Monitor 2 output to 1024x768. If video appears on the Beovision 7 at that resolution, incrementally increase the Monitor 2 resolution until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will accept as a secondary monitor.
u need to activate dual video & also configure the monitor 2 output ( i.e VGa or some other video out) monitor 1 & monitor 2 cannot be the same also check if u have activated the function using the software key provided by polycom
Power on unit, press and hold * key on remote takes a few minutes but spinning polycom logo will appeara and a minute or two after that the menu screen comes up. Main output is configured for S-video, your seeing a 2nd monitor output, doing above will switch the VGA to be main output.
From the Console Settings screen in the System area of the Xbox Dashboard, you can configure the video output of your Xbox 360 console.
Change your display output settings from this screen. Display settings include screen resolution and screen dimension (or aspect ratio, either standard or widescreen).
In some cases you can select an "Optimal Resolution" button, which appears only when Xbox supports the native resolution of the TV or monitor and automatically applies the best setting but that might not work with your tv.
If you are using VGA you must choose from among the following output resolutions: 640 x 480, 848 x 480, 1204 x 720, 1280 x 720, 1280 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1360 x 768, and 1920 x 1080. Much like a PC you would want to select a lower resolution (640X480). That will make your fonts larger.
Screen Format: The default setting is Normal (a standard 4:3 aspect ratio); select Widescreen to change the output aspect ratio to 16:9 if you have a widescreen TV or monitor. You should select normal and not widescreen for a standard tv.
I've just solved that problem in the VSX 7000 of my girlfriend's Job.
Your VSX7000 has at least 4 video outputs, 1 for VGA and Supervideo 1 and Supervideo 2.
Firstly you should try VGA connector, because the main menu may be there, so you could change the configuracion.
If you can't see main screen in any of the output connectors you'll have to use the http tool.
In your internet browser enter the camera IP address, and you'll get the Web Interface of the VSX7000.
It will prompt you for user & password, the default options are "Admin" and your VSX7000 serial number (14 digits) you can find this number under the camera.
Once you're in the Web Main Menu, click on Site Map. There you can choose what you want to see in the screen of Monitor1 (My menus are in Spanish, maybe your menu says something like "screens" but I'm sure you'll find it)
If you choose Monitor/Screen 1 as Svideo, and select it as output for Local, Remote and Content you should see the Main Menu after the VSX7000 Reboots.
I hope it would be useful for you, if you have any problem with this let me know... This VSX7000 is working fine now, so yours should work!
