I believe the problem is your one way bearing. Take off your starting system and remove the bearing, soak it in an alcohol mixture for about an hour, wipe the gunk off and let it dry. Also wipe off your starting shaft. should be good to go.

2003 chevrolet van 1500 wont start

use OBD II scanner. if there is a code in the pcm, it wil point you in the right direction. if not, go back to old school diagnostics. check for spark, check fuel pressure, check compression. if these appear ok, check timing.

My traxxas revo 3.3 wont start again

Your clutch is wet. You need to drill a very small hole less than one eighth of an inch at the bottom of the EZ start. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if answer is helpful for your question. THANK you and GOD BLESS

Engine wont start getting no gas

If there is no squirt of gas down the bore as you look at it and open throttle- no need for cranking, you are just checking for fuel inthe bowl. If none there replace fuel filter first and check, if nothing; then replace fuel pump

My trunk wont latch, my seatbelt doesn't buckle, and sometimes it wont start when I turn it on, I have to wait for awhile please help me fix my car I love it but want it to work properly, email me @...

The trunk catch is adjustable - look at the bar the latch catches on. It is mounted to the trunk with 2 screws or bolts. Slightly loosed those and move the catch up just a tiny bit. Re - tighten bolts and try closing. If the latch doesn't catch, move that bar up a tiny bit more until it catches. Don't move it too much as water will get in around the seal. The seatbelt latch can be replaced either with one from a junkyard or an aftermarket seatbelt assembly from an auto parts store. As far as the no start I need more info - does the starter turn over but the engine doesn't catch or, when you turn the key does nothing happen or a clicking noise? Let me know _ I'll do what I can!
Hope this helps!

When i start my truck the motor starts to REV very high and wont go i can see the gear spin at the bottom but think maybe something is not catching up top. last time i drove it was fine it did REV up...

Hi
you have two different problems. The engine is reving high because fuel into the engine is being starved i.e. the fast idle is set too high. This can eventually lead to a ruined engine. Traxxas engines are designed to run very rich with a heavy amount of oil to keep them cool. Retune your engine. Secondly your clutch shoes have probably glazed over or are simply worn out. Replace these. There's alsways a possibility that you've broken a gear in the transmission but the clutch shoes are much easier to replace and probably should be at regular intervals. Your manual will explain how to change them and how to retune. Good luck

Revo 3.3...engine doesnt stay on...

Could be a couple of things. Firstly the glow plug may need changing or youre running slightly rich. If you was replacing the glow plug you should retune the engine anyway. When the fuel is entering in the engine where the glow plug is theres either to much fuel and flooding plug out or the plug is not up to the job of burning the fuel. Replace plug and retune. You have had car for two years so guessing you know how to tune the engine.

I have a revo 3.3 nitro and im having problems starting it im am indoors about 70 and im flooding the engine i go through the steps for a flooded engine but the easy start won't turn i let it cool...

i'm new to revos two but i just bought a couple and had the same problem with one of them, make sure your glow plug is ok or just replace it and adjust your high speed needle, i'm in oregon i had to richen mine about 1/4 turn. i also noticed both of the models i got were set differently from the factory. there's info on traxxas website on where the factory needle settings should be.

Wheels spinning when starting

The problem is your clutch not the slipper clutch but your clutch that is against your flywheel on the engige,What has happened is that the spring that goes around the clutch shoes has broken or came loose. That causes the clutch shoes to not disengage from the slipper and transmission, therefore when you start the truck it wants to drive forward usually it wont run or idle unless you apply the throttle. Sometimes it will stick in second gear and when you start it you give it throttle to keep it running and it takes off in second at a low idle.To solve this remove the engine and the clutch and i bet you will find that the spring is broke or came off.

If your slipper clutch needs adjusted usually you will apply throttle and all that happens is that your engine rebs up and the truck wont go forward unless you really reb it up and that is not good on the engine.

When revos are 2-3 weeks old it is common for the slipper to need adjusted a 1/4 to 1/2 turn, traxxas keeps them adjusted really loose from the factory that is why a lot of people have trouble trying to pull i wheelie with a revo.

Truck won't catch

You need three things for the engine to start, spark, air and fuel. I would check fuel pressure and make sure it is within Ford's spec. Even being just below the min psi and some engines will not start.
