Oven doesn't work. Display F30 code. Gas Range model: 790-78579405. First time usage for oven. All stove burners does work. Some blogs mentioned "reset" red buttom but couldn't find it from the back metal panel. Please help. Thanks!

If the problem is with all the burners then the igniter module may be defective. If this is happening only with some burners then the cable to the ignition point has become loose or is shorting with the body.

I am assuming the model number is correct but I am not finding any details for this 24 inch freestanding gas range. If the oven is electric and if it is running that means at least the electric power is reaching the unit.

Electric gas igniters sometimes get stuck in one position causing a clicking sound. The clicking sound that you hear is the electric arc that is pulsing from the igniter conductor (wire) to ground (the gas burner). It receives power from the electrical outlet that the stove is plugged into.
Residue from food and sometimes cleaning products may be preventing the igniter from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. This is a common problem that occurs when the stove has been cleaned or food is allowed to build up. Make sure that the igniter and the burner base are clean and dry. This will help with proper operation. Oven cleaner and a small tooth brush may be used to accomplish this. Another problem with ignition may occur if you have too little (touching) or too much space between the igniter and the base of the burner; it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the igniter. A good “blue” arc from the igniter to the burner base is optimal. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the electric igniter module. Good luck.

Open (F30) or shorted (F31) RTD sensor
probe/ wiring problem. Note: EOC may
initially display an "F10", thinking a
runaway condition exists.

1- Press Cancel key.
2- Check wiring in probe circuit for possible short or open
condition. Check RTD resistance at room temperature
(compare to probe resistance chart). If resistance does not
match the chart, replace the RTD sensor probe. Let the oven
cool down and restart the function.
3- If the problem persists replace the relay board.

I have experienced a f30 code on my oven...I was told to change the oven sensor probe which i did....The code still comes up!!! SEARS IS NOT ANY HELP

the burners on my magic chef stove work but the flame is not as high as it should be on one burner. I switched the top of the burner with another and it did not solve the problem.
