How to program JVC vcr/dvd/tv remote 076D0FB010 for taping future tv shows. I can only tape shows live on my JVC HR-XVC1U machine.

It sounds like the remote you have, the JVC 076D0FB010, does not have the capability to program future recordings on your JVC HR-XVC1U or HR-XVC27U machines. This feature is typically called "timer recording" or "scheduled recording," and it is controlled by the VCR's built-in programming features, rather than by the remote.
You may want to check the user manual for your JVC HR-XVC1U and HR-XVC27U machines to see if there is a way to set timer recordings using the VCR's own controls. If the manual does not provide instructions for timer recording, it is likely that this feature is not available on your VCRs.
Alternatively, you can consider purchasing a universal remote that has the ability to program future recordings. Some popular universal remotes include the Logitech Harmony and the Philips Universal Remote Control.

Connecting JVC television set model AV29LX2 / JVC home theatre system/satellite decoder / Sony DVD recorder

You need to buy a splitter in order to put one to the DVD recorder and one to the tv from the decoder. You should be able to get one at the Local Radio Shack or other electronics store.

If you need help locating a store, please let me know

Otherwise Thank you for using Fixya and Have a Good Day!

Can record on DVD disc will not play on DVD player

Make sure the materials you're trying to record onto the DVD
is not Copyrighted. Try to record a normal TV program onto your
VHS, transfer it to your DVD and then play it. See if that will
work. A VHS movie is usually Copyrighted and Protected by
Macrovision. The picture output can be displayed on a TV set
for viewing but is scrambled black to a DVD Recorder.

JVC DCD Recorder hookup to digital TV

Yep, this recorder is NTSC analog. Sad, too - it was only manufactured in 2006 - they knew about the digital transition then. There is a possible workaround, but it depends on your TV - if your TV has a red, white AND (most importantly) yellow OUT/OUTPUT, then you can hook it to the AV IN on the back of the JVC and record from TV that way. Note: most TV's (even new ones) do not have the yellow video/monitor OUT, even if they have red and white audio OUT's.
