Ok, That' s a motherboard issue. You would have to replace motherboard...
Workaround:
1: Set server in minimum configuration(single processor and two RAMs)
2: Remove any PCI cards added in server
3: Turn on server check for issue
If plannar fault appear, you have to replace motherboard..
Yes you can monitor the raid controller by using IBM RAID MANAGER softwfare. Hope you are having windows platform . Click the below link and download the software.
please download the file named ibm_sw_srapp_9.20-16999_anyos_32-64.iso . After download burn it into cd . Now insert the cd and install the raid manager software.
Thanks

1.) firstly send the boot priority in the bios to HDD 0 or the harddrive connected directly to the board with the os.
2.) second thing, the Raiser Card, if it has raid Harddrrives connected via the ext. one of the raid harddrives connected to it is malfunctioning , remove and disable one at a time until u find the correct one. Or it could be the Card itself is malfunctioning.
I'm guessing here that you have a IDE card connected to the Raiser card with raid harddrives on it, One of them is malfunctioning.
Ensure drives are seated correctly and set up the RAID config.
Then on the Blue screen of Windows installation it will say "press f3 for 3rd party drivers", hit F3 (I think its F3), then insert a floppy disk with the drivers for you RAID controller, setup will then say it has found the followign drivers "your device xxx" then it should* pick up the hard drives later on in setup.
:) - RAID controller drivers can be got from the manufacturer websites.... normally.
What is is OS? Do you need the drivers for the for the RAID controller? Which variant of the 226 is it? Feel free to contact me through my website on business servers, especially if you're near Rockville, MD
