I have a genie pro 88 garage door opener push the button and it opens just fine traviels up to the limit switch and stops perfect. then push the button to go down and nota,

are the wires connected to the motor correct
for the limit switch there should be one wire ( normally black or neutral going to the center connection and the other wire ( red or active wires going to either of the other two terminals
that set up means that power is available to the limit switches and the return is the neutral wire
it works like this
on the up direction power is delivered to the motor by the controller box through a closed limit switch
when the up limit is circuit is broken the motor stops
the down button reverses the polarity of the motor in the controller box and so the motor runs in reverse through the the lower limit switch until that circuit is broken In the down action the upper limit switch circuit is completer but the control box has no power to it until the lower switch circuit is brokenis broken
the motor is dc voltage and to getting it to go up or down is done by the control box changing polarity for the motor power according to the button position pressed on the remote

Roller stops when the handle is lowered

Hi, it's Cindy from Crucial Vacuum.

Over usage, the bristles on rollers wear. The reason why the roller stops properly working when the handle is lowered is because as the handle is lowered the vacuum is raised from the floor. It may be time to change your roller. A quick search of part # 303202004 will bring several options for purchase.

While your changing your roller, you can also change your two filters and carbon filter. For optimal performance, it is recommended to change your filter every 3-6 months.

You can purchase direct your replacement belts from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com viewers, use code: FIXYA10

The paper is crumpled in the lower part of the paper.

Maybe you have problems with the upper fuser roller, open the back door and try to see the upper fuser roller and lower pressure roller if you see any wrinkles or damage in any of the rollers that's is the problem, you can replace them just the upper fuser roller and the lower pressure roller but it will need advanced skills, the other option is change all fuser assembly but at higher price

Genie trac drive

Over time, grime gets into the tracks, lubricant gums up in the rollers, and more pressure is needed.

On the ceiling mounted motor unit, there should be a pair of adjustment screws.
On my LiftMaster, they're labeled "OPEN FORCE" and "CLOSE FORCE".
These will increase the force exerted in the respective direction.
Make sure you are not adjusting the two screws that control the travel limit.
Adjust a LITTLE (like 1/8 to 1/16th of a turn at a time) and test before adjusting further.

Can not get the copier to pull paper from the top draw with out jamming each time.

Hello,
first, pull out the top drawer and open the right lower cover and door. now if you look into the "hole" where was drawer, on right side you will see the 3 rollers that pick, feed and separates the paper.
Remove all rollers and clean them with alcohol and dry them out, or change the places with rollers from lower drawer. Also when the right door are opened you will se two axis with two rubber rollers, clean them very well.
The iR2270 has issues with pressure on lower right cover and you need to put the rubber or similar in wide and narrow slot on lower cover, so that when its closed presses the inner paper guide which touches the rollers on axis. If You already have metal "wings" on lower cover, you don't need to apply any additional pressure.
But necessarily change the roller for paper of both cassete's and in fixing unit the fixing cleaning roller.

Hope that helps!

Ricoh 1027 ADF grabs multiple pages causing adf jam

you need to replace the lower of 3 rollers in the ADF (sep roller), for a temp fix you can clean this roller with wd40 as it will soften the rubber and get it to "grip". these rollers (lower of three) are always the first to go "bald on any mnf copier in the ADF and Drawers causing multiple feeding. they are used to allow one page at a time as they either turn backwards or offer torque (resistance) to lower pages

My 1/2 hp Chamberlain garage door stops while going down even when I am holding the wall unit. If I stop it and restart it goes a little further and then stops. Both sensors have green lights and they are...

On the back of the motor unit you will find the down force control. You may have to remove a light lens depending on your model. Increase this a 1/4 turn and try.
